Red bleed over???
« on: August 06, 2005, 01:52:25 pm »
On my Wells Gardner k7000 monitor i have notice that there seems to be red bleed over effect on the outline of the graphics, can espacally notice it in windows, theres like a red glowing outline around the letters etc. Im guessing i need to adjust the Red Drive or Red Cut off at the rear of the monitor?? Can some quickly explain in basic terms what the Drive and Cut Off dials do??

Ok i dont think its got anything to do with the Drive or Cut Off dials, as ive followed Kens guide on another thread about using Street Fighter 2's colour screen setup, and gotten the colours bars all leveled near the centre of the screen (i did have to turn the screen dial down quite a bit to get them near the centre though) But still there seems to be a red shadowing the Text on windows, it only seems to be on the top of the lettering though, there doesnt seem to be red on the bottom side of the letters, which is strange

I think i know what you mean, i need to set my back ground on windows to the convergence picture, and see if all the colours are in line right? How do i go about adjusting the convergence, do i need to adjust the rings around the yoke? Is this quite difficult to do??

Regarding the picture, looking at it more closely you notice most on white writing on a black background. Its like you have the text in while and then behind that upwards and to the left is the text again but in red, like a kind of shadow effect i guess
