The light is yellow because people cannot connect to you directly.  You need to open a incoming port by configuring your firewalls and router.

im confused ???

he explained exactly what you need to do.  IN order to share correctly on bittorrent, you need to be on an open port, or port range.  Read your router manual and figure out how to open up ports.  Then set up bittornado to use those ports specifically (or the port range if you use a range)
first off your and idiot

Man I love the internet, haha.

After you open a port, go to the preferences in bit tornado and change the port number to whatever port you opened.

But since this wasn't clear enough:

1) Open a bit tornado
2) Start a torrent
3) Click on Prefs in the upper right
4) Change the port number range in the upper right
5) Have fun downloading!

If you absolutely cannot figure out how to configure your router (and assuming you are running windows) you can try BitComet.  It does some kind of voodoo magic and gives me fast downloads even with no open ports.  I used it when I was at school and didn't have access to their router.

Fully agree with previous comment made on BitComet.

Prolly the best Torrent software on the net. It's fast, and full of good statistics...
Vids:  Home built MAME machine, Crystal Castles. Arkanoid
Pins:   Williams Aztec (working). Stern Nugent (not working...yet), Williams Phoenix (major not working, missing parts.... )

Always on the lookout for buying 90's game with Ramps that need work...
