Need help with grounding....asap please
« on: August 04, 2005, 02:35:39 pm »

Hi all,   :)

Having problems with my monitor which seems to be caused by bad grounding ??

I have a LS29 candy cab with 29" monitor, j-pac, arcade vga, and a pc now installed inside the cab.

Picture is great except for 1 problem.

I have a problem with the brightness of the monitor which seems to auto adjust all the time, even when scrolling through web pages at 640x480 the colours keep changing brightness.
(I have already posted this as 'monitor brightness fluctuations')

I have been told that it may be interference and have been advised to make sure everything is grounded.

I am new to this so can any tell me in easy steps how I go about making sure my pc case, monitor etc are fully grounded then I can at least eliminate this problem.

If anyone thinks this is not the problem, then what else may be causing this ?

any help would be very much appriciated !!!
Mark
