Wow, I can't believe how long it took me to find this. It might be a new record. I fired up google and did a search for "Virtua On Operation Moongate" and it came up with this link . It looks like VOOM is now Abondonware. This game is also referred to as Virtual On Cybertroopers (same game).

 Its unlikely you will find it for purchase other than the likes of ebay or discount bins in retail stores. The reason I say that is that it is classified as abandonware which means that the software distributor no longer is producing, supporting, or selling it and has deemed it public domain.

I have gotten this game to run on AMD machines, you do need a special patch. I have it on a CD around here somewhere, I'll dig it up sometime today and send it to you.

Not that it would be really appropriate to post here.. if for say... you setup a bit torrent or upload to a newsgroup.  That probably wouldn't be appropriate.

Well ladies, I sat down with it, ripped an ISO and tried to get that patch to work...no go. So I decide to flex my cracking skills. I made my own crack and it works like a charm Right now I only have the MMX part done, still need to find the CD check. If anyone has any hosting space I would be happy to put all this stuff online for general consumption.

That sounds great!  How big is the iso?  I don't really have any space, but maybe we could figure something out.

The ISO is 100 meg, just the patched EXE is a little over 6 meg. Im gonna try to get the CD crack into at some point tonight, I think I know where to look.

Argggg! Looks like my patch worked fine, theres a issue with the game and Windows XP. There is someone else working on a fix for it, because its way over my head as to waht the issue is.
