I need help picking out a video card for TV use
« on: August 01, 2005, 10:39:36 pm »
My 25" WG arcade monitor just stopped working and I have a spare 25" RCA TV with S-video that I'll be replacing it with.

I need to get a cheap video card to work with it and I've done a search on posts re: video cards.  All of them are either vague or are old posts.  I'll be pulling my ArcadeVGA out of the MAME PC and replacing with the new ATI card with TV out.

I want to buy an ATI card (inexpensive).  Which ATI cards work well & are inexpensive?

I need to buy from New Egg as I have a credit with them.  Would someone mind making a model specific recommendation?

Many thanks!

I believe that the tube may be dead.

Thanks for the correction!  I do see the orange glow @ the neck.  No, there is no high pitched squeal present.

Anything else I sould try?
