Ken can probably confirm, but Sony Trinitron tubes are totally unlike/incompatible with all other standard shadow-mask tubes. Even if it is electrically compatible, at the very least you will have significant geometric distortion as Trinitron tubes are flat vertically and only curve horizontally. I would NOT suggest attempting to swap in a Trinitron tube into an arcade chassis. There are numerous tube swapping web sites.. Use Google and search for "arcade tube swap" I turned up numerous good links on the first page of results alone.Again however, you have to ensure many things match before you swap a tube:1) The pinouts on the tube are identical (need to have good reference books or be able to trace circuit boards)2) The size/power requirements of the tube are within the same range (e.g. a 27" tube will not work on a 13" or 20" chassis and may not work on a 25")3) The deflection angle of the tube4) The impedence and/or dc resitance of the yoke attached to itSome of the above items are critical safety/immediate circuit damage issues, while others are simply geometric imperfections from minimal to totally unacceptable. Again, a Trinitron tube is a different beast. I wouldn't waste my time.
