http://misfitmame.mameworld.net/ (I think, ZTnet is hosed as usual again).

Also most versions of NoNameMAME had it.

Officially, it was in the same versions as Pong (which are blacklisted and unavailable from the main sites, somewhere like 36b9-36b11, IMS).

I can be wrong, but Monaco GP has no processor, the pcb (s) (there is 4 or 5 for the game) contains only logical gate and rom.  As pong which was purely analogique, i think. It is not possible to really emulate these game. But only simulate!

I didn't look in mame for these game, but how did they manage that?

I own an original Monaco gp cab since few weeks (still have to restore it) , i would be curious to see Monaco GP on mame.

They simulated it, that's why it got removed at the same time as Pong.

Monaco GP was never in an official build.

May be you was thinking about Super Monaco Gp  , a game from about 1989 by Sega, which was in a kind of 3D .

Kind of a misleading statement isn't that, Haze?  (Just let this be a lesson that when someone says IMS, it often doesn't.

According to http://patchmame.emu-france.com/simulate.html (and my memory) it was removed from MAME at the same time as Pong (and several gambling games).

According to http://www.mame.net/oldmame.html - "Versions from 0.36b10 to 0.36b16 are unavailable for an indefinite period of time."  I am pretty sure this is b/c these are the versions that contained Pong (and also probably Monaco GP).  However, I downloaded 36b10 and 36b16 from another site and neither one contains Monaco GP, so my memory if failing.

I think probably Phil Stroffolino released the source and probably someone (M.A.S.H. ???) released a binary with it patched in.

Sorry for doubting you, Haze!!!
