finished my first (vector) image
« on: July 27, 2005, 03:46:21 am »
Hello,

I just finished my side art.

I want to thank frostillicus for his great tutorial, whitout him it was impossible for me to make this, be course this is the first time ever that I use a graphical program other than viewing.

Please let me know what you think of it because it cost me a lot  of time.

I hope it is good enough to print it in a large size

Thanks in advance

Great effort. Definitely cabinet worthy without a doubt.

Do you have plans for the material it will be printed on? That will probably dictate just how good it looks at printed size.

Well from what I have seen most ppl prefur to have things printed an adhesive vinyl. More or less for it's durability I believe. Now vinyl is a bit more expensive but it looks worth it!

I had my control panel printed on a sticky backed polypropylene and I am happy with the printed finish. The material has a slight textured feel about it.

I laughed when I saw the cards had old gaming characters on them.  Thats a nice touch.

Good job on the vector work.
