Whats up with some of the people on these boards "borrowing" other peoples avatars?

There's a thread called Avatar Fight. It's about a zillion pages long. Read it. You still won't understand, but you'll have been dragged down to our level and at that point it won't matter.

Reading back in that thread is useless, since the jokes were about whose avatar was what at that point... now that they've all changed, it makes less sense than it did even then.

What was the topic and why was it posted again? I seem to remember reading something about Grid Girls, bacon, and myself. Those three things normally lead to one of the better Fridays out of the year, so my vote for the poll is YES, and put it on a hat.
