Nah, I've never been to Lakewood but my wife occasionally watches the broadcasts.  As far as televangelists go, J.O. isn't half bad.  He comes off as pretty genuine and well-spoken, but I would never even consider sending a dime to them.

Something tells me that with 30,000 showing up each Sunday, he's still doing okay.  I dunno what it is....I can stomach watching him, but there's just....SOMETHING about him.  Know what I mean?

Oh yea, I know what you mean.  He's the physical embodiment of the word "slick".  His sermons are rehearsed and spit-shined till they're perfect, it's almost unnatural.
