Fades out to black
« on: July 18, 2005, 03:33:41 am »
Hi,
I have recently recieved an arcade machine which i have wired up for MAME use. The monitor is flaky at the moment as when i turn it on the screen appears for about 30seconds to 1 minute, then it fades to black and doesnt come back on.

I can still see an orange glow near the bottom of the tube but there is no picutre.

When the monitor works it has slight faint white lines across the screen, how can i remove these and fix my monitor?

There are two stickers on the tube, one saying it is a KAGA Electronics KZ-20N-L and another saying Mitsubishi 510UKB22. The monitor is about 19-20".

Thanks for your help!

That's an old monitor. First thing is install a capkit. Kaga monitors are rebranded Nanao monitors.
