Shaking Screen!

I have a LG Monitor 15" Model 552v

All of a sudden my monitor was missing red color. and it would come back when the socket was wiggled. So i took the monitor to a monitor repairing shop. Guy said its because of a faulty VGA cable and he aligned the wires in new cable
