9200 Was Fine now No Picture

I pulled my Wells Gardner d9200 monitor out of my cab about two months ago, just wired it back up today and no picture.  First there was nothing at all I could hear the board changing resolutions and then I could almost see something.  I then turned the computer off after a minute I could dimly make out the NO SIGNAL with the colors it was dim and flickered.  Then nothing again. 

The board seems fine i could hear humming that went with the dim picture going in and out from the black box that the cap plugs into.

Would a cap kit be the probable solution here?  I hope it is something not to bad as my new slikstik cab arrives next friday

Here are some pics of the suspected cap, it looks pushed in.  I wiggled it then plugged the monitor back it and it showed the no signal faintly (the picture was scrolling) and then it stopped.

OK I took the anode cap off, I discharged it but there was no charge. I then realized what a simple piece that was and figure it is not the problem, any ideas on what to do at this point or where to take it would be greatly appreciated.  I live in fresno california, just at a loss as to what to do next. 

It still glows on the neck board which I figure is a good sign.  Also any idea at how much I am looking at to repair this?

Hoping someone can help me with this one, will I have any luck taking this to a local tv shop or will I have to ship this back to wells gardner?

I'm not anywhere near an expert, but here's a few ideas.

Have you tried the brightness or contrast controls.  It may be hard, but you'd may have to use the menu controls.  Also, you may have to access the "hidden" menu options as there was a bug at one time where the factory set options would reset themselves.



Just so you know, the anode cap is not replaced with a CAPacitor kit.  Two different things and I've never heard of anyone confuse the two.

A local amusement game operator may be able to test and/or repair it. Look in the Yellow Pages under Amusement Devices.

If not the repair facility is only about 250 miles away, I went ahead and bought another one but I am still going to get this repaired.
