win98 desktop display ?
« on: July 08, 2005, 03:20:29 pm »
Hey everyone, I have a newbie question about 98 desktop, using avga.

I have a slower celeron overclocked to 850mhz, so making my choice of OS win98. i'd like to keep explorer as my shell and plan on using multiple emulators that have GUI's. I'd prefer not using wrappers.

Since 98 doesn't have panning, how would i navigate through the desktop when it only shows about a 1/4 of it in 640 x 288 non interlaced?

Thanks.

Why do you think that will happen?  640x288 will fit full-screen with no panning.  So will 640x480 & 800x600 for that matter.
