Is this the same as the ATI adapter??
« on: July 06, 2005, 02:12:35 am »
I found this at Fry's Electronics.  Is it the same as the ATI?

http://shop3.outpost.com/product/4076872#detailed

What is the easiest way to get component to my new Toshiba 27A34 TV?  I just bought it today and I am using s-video but want to try the other.  Is there something besides the ATI adapter I can buy like the above for example?

            Thanks!

Hard to tell when they give you _no_ infomration on it.

However, I have got my ATI connected to the TV using a VGA to 5 BNC cable, with adaptors to RCA on 3 of them and a reg key change I found on here somewhere.

Can you explain a little more about your setup?   Did you purchase your cable or make it yourself?   I read where the hack is only for Win98?  Do you like your picture?  I am guessing it is better than S-Video like everyone says?    Thanks for any info.

Came from a computer shop - needed it for the second input on my old viewsonic monitor - one end has a VGA plug, the other has 5 BNC plugs - RGB and H and V sync

I just got 3 adatprs that take the BNC to an RCA and slapped them on the end of it, worked. I just pluged it in, saw it worked in 480p and then unplugged it, I havent got the TV that will be going in the cabinet yet. Seemed to be as expected when I tried it. Didnt try adjusting for overscan etc
