Replacing arcade monitor with a computer monitor
« on: July 02, 2005, 05:53:05 am »
this might sound daft but is it simple enough to replace an arcade monitor with a regular crt computer monitor?

I know the computer monitor would just connect to the computer (rather than rgb to the jamma edge connector) (doh!) I just wondered if there'd be any other technicalities?

alls I'd need is for my dad to come round and put a shelf in it for me to hold the monitor.

Yup that's all is takes from a technical standpoint. The difficulty in using a PC monitor is in making it fit. Making it work is a snap.
