Looking for Fantasy Football opinions

I'm contemplating changing website/software providers, and am wondering who your league uses.  Yahoo and CBS Sportsline are popular, but nobody who's used Yahoo and then gone to a "real" league site ever wants to go back to Yahoo, and CBS is WAAAAAAAY too expensive for the service they DON'T give you.

Specifically, if anyone has any experience with www.fanball.com I'd appreciate it, as that's probably the only option I'm looking for, but whatever your league uses, I'd like to hear it.  I can do the simplistic page designing/programming that www.myfantasyleague.com uses, so learning a little isn't out of the question, but paying for a site is out, as we'd have to pay for a stats service anyway, so we wanna stick with what stats services offer.

And here is the software/site I use (it's FFLM-software based, which I'm REALLY familiar with):

There's two possibilities of who my team is.  There's enough info I've posted around here and my team took a dump at such a crucial time, that if you can't figure out what team is mine, there's no hope for you ;D

By reading the thread title i thought you needed advise on what players to take in the draft, if you do need any help in that area i would be more then happy to help.  ;D

Get yourself some G-men players as soon as possible.  ;)

I've played for well over a dozen years, never placing lower than 5th in 12-team leagues, and never lower than 4th in the past 7 years (although that friggen Canadian, GG, rooked me out of the glory last year).  I regularly play in 4+ leagues per year, and the only Giants player I can EVER remember having is Amani Toomer....and I picked him up off waivers because my friggen WR broke his leg the first game of the season and Toomer's owner thought he had a better pickup (and actually, Toomer WAS his third best receiver)

Thus far, your advice is TERRIBLE ;) ;D

Oh, I may have picked up a Giants Kicker or D here and there to fill in for my REAL position players for a week or so....but I don't really count those 1-week pickups as actually USING a Giants player....more like abusing 'em. ;D

Fanball doesn't have demo leagues per se.  Their solution is that they have a 2-week free trial, but I've got to give them all my info and then call to cancel if I don't like 'em.  And somehow I'm supposed to be able to tell based on NO stats available from last year ::)

Fanball seems to be like CBS, but easier to navigate, quicker to load, and $100 cheaper.  CBS throws in a draft board and stickers, but that's only $20, and CBS just flat SUCKS to load a lot of times!

Tommy, don't worry, we'll be setting up a league here before the season gets going.  Prolly something easy, and I'll give you all the Giants players you can handle...mebbe even make a trade.   Peyton for Barber & Plexiglass.

My league used Fanball two years ago.  I wasn't too happy with them--our live draft was a complete fiasco.  Server crashes, people getting booted, etc.  It was a big enough headache that we decided to move over to ESPN last year, even though ESPN didn't allow anywhere as much customization as Fanball.

Make sure you look over Fanball's forums.  See if they fixed their live draft problems last year.  If they did then I would recommend them.

The league I've been in for like ten years now uses one of those sites, but I don't have a url handy... I really like the one we use.  We don't do our draft online, though, we do it in a 90 degree room with a keg and a lot of yelling and later on some strippers.

That's the only way to have a draft, if you ask me!
