Most Popular Cabinet Games
« on: June 26, 2005, 05:27:26 pm »
I am builing a Cabinet (first one) and followingJohn St. Clair's book. I just wanted to know with some of you guys, what are the most popular games that people play (or request if you don't have them).

Of course everyone wants to play PacMan and Centipede but what else do you guy get?

P.S. - If there is already a thread for this, please someone point me in the right direction as I probably didn't look as hard as I should.

There's about one posted every other week.

A word of advice, if you "have a feeling" that a question has been posted before it undoubtedly has.  So look before you post it.

I love the golden tee's, metal slugs, and all of the Zinc games.  I'm too lazy myself to look. :)

Howard, we/I don't need/like someone like you comming on making people feel like crap for trying to post on a board and get some input on obviously solarix's first Mame/Arcade venture.

Metal Slug is always fun, all the Mortal Kombats and Streetfighters are good to have, i also enjoy tapper, rygar, burgertime and many others, it all depends on what you like obviously.

Crusin USA/WORLD don't work well at all.

well i feel your pain, BUT...since ive been here a while lots of newbies come and go asking questions that have been asked many times before and it does tend to clog up the message board and it bumps down legit new topics, so i can see where Howard is coming from.  he might do it in a power trip nazi-esque attitude, but thats what hes there for, to make sure the retarded lazy people are kept to a minimum, myself included.  so yeah he sucks, but its kinda one of those things you hate to live with but cant live without.  make sense?

dont get pissed howard, you know its true.

The number 1 requested game at Dream Arcades is MS. Pac-man. at least 2-1 over any other game.

Hi solarix i have the book too,but find that you can read a dozen pages at a time to find something where these guys seem to have done it often and it comes second nature to them.

I find that i spend hours reading forums to find out if someone has the same prob i am having so i can follow the advise they have been given, i search faq regular and cant always find the answer and sometimes shy away from asking unless i get the same reply you got.

I think thats why i dont post as much as i should and just spend endess hours trying to sort it myself.

I have just started my first cab for grandchildren and finding it very hard the build is not a prob its getting the software set up for me.

Anyhow i hope you did not mind me jumping in and letting you know how i felt.
cheers and good luck
