although i can alter the monitor in my cab from horizontal to vertical I cant really be bothered - i was just wondering what happens if you run a pcb something like Mercs or 1942 (vertical games) on a horizontal monitor.

They game will look rotated by 90 degrees to the left or right. It'll display properly on the screen, but your screen just won't be in the right position to handle it. You would have to tilt your head sideways to see it straight.
