Good TV for Cab?
« on: June 23, 2005, 07:29:40 am »
I was looking at the JVC AV27530 for my cab. Does anyone have this model and can tell me if its a good tv or not? Suggesttions are welcome as well for models, I'd like like to stay below 250 if possible and was considering hooking it up via ATI component, but s-video will be first until I get the $$ for the dongle. Thanks!

I think that JVC model is the model of choice for most people in here.  Use the search feature and you'll end up with a bunch of hits.

I personally bought a Magnavox at Circuit City for $225 or so and couldn't be happier with it.

I use a 24" RCA  TV ($135 scratch-n-dent) via S-vid connection to a 128mb PNY/Nvidia video card.  I'm very happy with the results.  Click on my web-link to see some screen shots using this arrangement.  Keep in mind the pics aren't as good as the real thing due to TV refresh rates vs. how digital camera's work.  You'll get an idea, tho.

Good luck!
