Arcade inspired license plate
« on: June 22, 2005, 10:19:37 pm »
I wanna get something on my license plate that shows I'm a classic arcade enthusiast.  Any ideas?  I tried different variations of GameOver (GmeOver, GameOvr, Game0vr, ...) but they were all taken.  Pac Man is also gone.  Pac Dad isn't taken  :P.  Also 80s Gmer or 80s Gamr.  Any other ideas?

You can have spaces?  We can't have spaces in vanity plates up here in NH...
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

VA's DMV website allows it.  Check this link out & select 'passenger standard issue' (I think that gives you max spaces on the plate).  After you plug in your plate, it'll tell you if it's available or not.

PAC MEN is available...   :P

FKTARD is too.  :o  can you imagine the looks

All available:
IHAV 2P
GIME 25
RTFM
IVNIK8 (fornicate)
UU D 44 (use the force) US D 4S works too I guess...

Too bad about the "space or dash" rule otherwise
1000101

I'd love to get that one but we have to have at least one letter...

The closest I have got to MAMEingTM my car is these little puppies:-

not arcade related, but this is the greatest license plate ever.  Genius, and would only work in Florida...or some other state with a big round object in the middle of the plate

I wanted  "WakaWaka"  but it's too many letters

put "MAME" on there and see if Foley trys to repo your car.

Yeah, the new plates have two smaller oranges instead of on big one, so it won't quite work anymore.

This is the best one so far. You get a subtle PacMan reference, without being too much of a dork.

I just got that one, shmokes.  Right on!  Very cool.  BUT - not accepted by the DMV thing-a-ma-hoochie.  Don't think all those dashes will fly.  Great idea, tho.
