MAME athlon build, problems with hi. ?

I've used the athlon custom build of mame in my cab., just recently i discovered that none of my highscores in any games are saved upon exit.

Does anyone know if there are some issues with the builds over at redump.emubase.de?

I only got to check if the hi folder was read only, it wasnt, will try to use the original build some of theese days, but work is killing me.

Silly question, but did you put the hiscore.dat file (http://www.mameworld.net/highscore/) in your MAME directory?

.... Had to forget the hiscore file...

I did a reinstall of windows, only saving the rom files and hi folder, no wonder the thing didnt saved hiscores....
