I'm not sure if this will help (because i'm not exactly sure of your problem!) but here is a link to some alternative ATI drivers:-

http://www.omegadrivers.net/

Use the links on the homepage to navigate to the alternative driver, but be aware that these are unapproved drivers however I have used them on my 9800pro for 3 months with no effect.

Also here is a utility called multires which may be of use:-

http://www.entechtaiwan.net/util/multires.shtm

Between them they have more tools than the catalyst driver so they may give you what you require.

Thanks for the direction.  I researched both and this lead me to other utilities.  It looks like UltraMon might do the trick.

http://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/

My problem is that I always want to get GameEX to always open on the secondary monitor which is the Component Out.  Then the GameEX front end is closed, the screen reverts back to the S-Video.    The built in ATI Hydravision software would not to it, nor would the default windows extended desktop features.

Thanks Agin for the help.

Next I am going to try to figure out how to trigger some output on my PC to power a relay switch to automatically switch my TV from Component to S-Video input, when I switch between desktops.
