Pentranic 33" tube

I recently acquired a game cabinet with a Pentranic 33" monitor, but the chassis is bad.  When i picked up the cabinet, the monitor was shown to be working with a replacement chassis, but since it wasn't part of the deal, i didn't get it.  I am wondering, how much is this monitor tube worth, since i am thinking about selling it.  The cabinet is just to big for what i want, i wanted to part out what i got.  Since i am having no luck in finding comparison prices, i am here asking.  There is no visible burn in on the screen.

Bite off more than you can chew? I've been there before. Well what it's worth and what you can get for it are, unfortunately, 2 different things. Considering its size, you probably won't be finding alot of interested buyers. You can charge as much or as little as you want. The hard part will be selling it at all. If I were you, I'd take just about anything you were offered (as long as it's not ridiculous).

Otherwise post it to "the great equalizer" (ebay) and set a long auction time on it so as many people as possible can see it. Half of a monitor that size just won't be easy to sell.

LOL... I have the same tube in a cab without a chassis.....

I'd love to use it, but can find a matching chassis without handing over an arm and a leg.

The guy from pentranic said it was 71 pounds for the chassis.  Thats rouchly 125 bucks. 

Its not that i cant afford it, but the cabinet is 78" tall by 35 wide, by 39 deep.  Plus there is the control pedistal, so its just bigger then what i was expecting.  Since i am working a deal for a standard 25" cabinet fully stripped, to get it for free, i kinda want to sell what i have to make money for a new 25" monitor and chassis.    i would also be selling the coin doors, and the game that came with it.  Street fighter 3, 3rd strike asia. 

let me check to see if i can find the number for the guy i talled to, that said it was 71 pounds.

I'm assuming that if yoou have a machine with a 33" monitor that it's a showcase cabinet. If so, selling the game and machine seperate would be fine. However, I wouldn't go parting out the thing. I'd leave the machine intact.

It'll do no good to anyone else with missing coin doors and stuff. You'll find out that you sold your coin doors but then you're still trying to get rid of a beast in your garage, and it's not getting sold because it's not in one piece anymore.

Those machines are typically more useful to operators than to homeowners. Operators use them to make money. They need those coin doors.

I can see the cabinet faster then the monitor.  I already have a friend that wants to make a mame system out of it, and he wants to use his 35" tv for the monitor since he already has that working.  He doenst want the coin door, the monitor, or even the control panel, but hes getting that e n way.  I havent decided to sell it yet, since im waiting for this other deal for a different cabinet to go thru.
