Clean windows install with AVGA ok?
« on: June 16, 2005, 03:32:39 pm »
Is it safe to install windows from scratch with an Advanced VGA card installed? I'm assuming windows will orginally select a generic driver, and then I'll have to install the correct driver after install completes.

Thoughts? Thanks.

when ive installed xp with an arcade vga to a tv.. i only get half the screen on the set up menu's.. you can install but you need to know alot of it of by heart(from memory).. if you need to read the setup then you may struggle..

but saying all that...  the answer is actually yes.. but its just a pain
