NBA Jam T.E.

Does anyone have NBA Jam T.E. ?

I was just wondering if an external amp is required for the sound.  I have the PCB but when I plug it in, no sound.
Over my window they'd written my name,

I have a regular NBA Jam and it has a Separate sound board. I think the T.E. is the same board with differnet roms. The sound board connects to the main board by a ribbon cable and 2 plug-in cables. You also have to have to connect a 5k pot to adjust the sound level or you will get no sound. I found my sound board on ebay for $6.
