Betson Multisync Color Problem

I have the 27" Betson Imperial Multisync monitor and I am having color problems. On the standard blue windows xp desktop background, from the top of the monitor to about 3" down and all the way across is green and not blue (it fades down into blue in the center). Also, on the bottom, about 8" high and all across, it is a redish/purplish color fading up into the blue in the center. Can anyone tell me what could possible cause this problem? I am going to call Betson, but would like to know if anyone can give me some details before hand.

Stupid question, but did you try hitting the degauss button on the remote control pad?  If that doesn't help, try moving the cabinet to another location in the room (or just turn it 90 degrees and see if you have the same problem).

I figured it out.. it was the magnetic shielding on the speakers. I can't believe how easily it distorts the screen. I ordered bucking magnets and I hope that they will do the trick... I had mounted a second set of speakers to the side of the cabinet in its own enclosure (6x9 car enclosure) and they affect the monitor through 1.5" of wood and a couple more inches of air. I hope the magnets work so that I can keep my setup and not have to rearrange things.

Got them from parts express (www.partsexpress.com). Search for "bucking magnets" they have 4 different sizes. They say that you should aim for a magnet that is 1/2 to 3/4 the size of the magnet on your speaker. I just need some advice on how to put it on and keep it down. They are 2 large magnets that are repelling eachother and I am guessing that it is a chore just to get them close together.

Anyone that has put them together have a good method to do so and a best glue to use?
