There is someone local that's selling a Super Mario Bros. Pinball for a good price.

Well, parts are hard to find for any pin, since none of the companies except one even still exists. I'd love to see this pin, very cool theme.

What is the price?

Not too bad, highly dependent on condition.

Look at it this way. A working pin, in reasonable shape, under home use, will usually last. They're built for commercial use, and by comparison, home use is barely use at all.

I have one. See pic here. It's my first pin, and I don't play many, so I can't comment on how it compares to others.

The kids love it. It has Mario making some corny comments, and the kids get a kick out of that. Overall, I think it's a great machine for the home, especially if you have kids. Not that adults don't like it, but if you want to please the adults more, find a more adult-themed pin.

I saw this pinball at the SuperAuctions in Orlando. Did not stay to see what it went for though. I would of stayed and gotten it if I had the money and space (need to buy other things before I get a pinball). Very nice looking pinball. If you like the whole Mario theme then get it. As long as it stays in good working condition you should have no trouble reselling it down the line if you decide you want something different.

There isn't a standard size, but they are pretty manageable.

yes, but I assume a standard size is 4 long x 2 wide x 2 depth. Just wonder how much more length does the fold down backdoor adds.

And on a lot of games you can completely take the backbox all the way off pretty easily. Did this with Black Knight last month.

It's certainly easier on the older games like Black Knight compared to the WPC-era games. Many more connectors & wires but it is still doable, just a bit of a pain. I'd recommend against it unless necessary.

I've actually played that one (surprizing as I have not played many Pinball Machines). Enjoy it! I will eventually get a pinball in 2-3 years. Once we decide to upgrade our house to one with a dedicated gameroom.

way to necromancy a 10 year old thread.

average sell price of $1731 with a low of $400. depends on condition. working with okay playfield condition typical of a route machine i'd say 1000. a mainly home'd unit closer to 1700.
