display Help
« on: June 09, 2005, 03:00:12 pm »
I am on the last step of getting my mame cabinet up and working.

I am using...

RCA 27'' Arcade Monitor SVGA
Windows Xp
Mame w/ Mamewah Front End
Radeon 9000 Pro
AMD 64Bit XP 2100+
Asus A7N266
512mb Cosiar
J-Pac
SF2 Arcaded Cabinet w/ Jamma Harness

Now, when the computer starts up and is doing its Post, it displays on the Monitor fine. But as soon as windows xp starts up, its all garbled. I have been playing with powerstrip for around an hour now and I cant seem to figure it out, I tried setting the Vsync to 30.00hz interlaced, and the Hsync to 15.275, with a pixel clock at 30.981 and I still cant get it to work.

Thanks guys, I appreciate your help!

I got the display to work fine in windows XP using 640x480 at 27hz. Everything in windows looks good. As soon as I launch mamewah, its all scrambled.
