I was sitting at home one night looking through my scketch book and decided to doodle a Midway style arcade... kinda like MK. and got carried away and drew Vash the Stampede Next to it, leaning on the bottom corner... I drew a Weird looking A- and Thus how It began, I was looking at the Logo of my New Concept MAME cabinet called Codenamed= Anim-Cade or Anima-Cade... since then Ive done 1 Marquee Example and a Large logo In MS PAINT, I would eventualy like to go to the next step in Creating a Long Lasting Nice looking marquee... professionaly done of course...any help, tips to get started would be apreciated...

I would also Like to add alot of Anime Characters Shadowed and Over shadowing the end product art... if someone could also give me a professional Idea of how to do The title in a fill type form, it would great, or you can try it out yourself and share how you did it... ^.<

My recommendation is to do the marquee in a font related to one of your favorite animes.

Maybe it could be lettered like FLCL, or something like that.

Another title suggestion - Akirade.

or maybe Arcade Bebop.

the tough part is having enough room and Estimating How many characters, equally that will fit on a Marquee-Bezel- side art- and Control panel that'll be the hardest part Deciding

It may not be such a hard decision, depending on how easily you can really find some nice source art.

I was talking about the english characters. I don't think you want to tell people what the kanji means for the rest of your life.

I looked into it more...and I just thought of a great first look on art... how bout the Manga but overlayed in Red? juat like Marvel Super Heroes comics art, but Manga... ^.< its a Idea...

I better go start collecting Manga scans... lol

I wish i could get my hand on some Original Japanese Scans, I started out with the zelda Doujihisi and only was able to get 5 copys of it with English translation written over the good art... >.<

know where I can get the Real stuff? or a few Japanese sites? (

and for some reason I cant search Manga scans on Google)
(it closes my window after a few seconds!?! weird?)

im not really a big fan of those.... i used to watch Lupin III and even speed racer... ^.< but they are past, i may consider them If I cant find the Manga scans for anything else... Which im having problems finding... >.<

Nice. You've got to get your hands on some GTO manga.

You can send a Photoshop psd file to mamemarquees.com with no problem whatsoever, and I'm sure other formats. I know he can take tiff.

I also wanted to mention , that I will Creating a Thread in the Project Forums tommorow... That way I can get more of different Board Clingers Quirky name's and ideas... ^.<

That depends on you. He can only do so much with a bitmap image. You need to have your file at 300dpi for a good clear print.
