game ex does not see Neo Geo games

Hi everyone, i just got finished installing Game EX frontend, what a beautiful program!  i was having such a hard time with the other FE's and then finally to find a program that looks so good and is easy to use, but for some reason my Neo Geo roms (metal slug, etc) do not show in the games list.  I am using Mame32 and when i launch from mame32 they work fine, but with gameex they dont show up, does anyone know how to fix this?  thanks!
