Samsung monitor no picture, just horizontal green line
« on: May 31, 2005, 10:43:59 pm »
Hi, I powered up a fairly new samsung monitor.
At first I got no picture, then I noticed there was am little damage on the neck.
I resoldered a few of those brass wires into place and now I am getting a thin green line running through the center of the monitor with no picture.
I didnt notice any other disconnections or broken pieces on the neck.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Steve

sorry, i dont know much about monitors but have you got the right amount of power running to it? some monitors have really weird power requirments and maybe thats the cause of the problem
