How do you have it wired?

VGA                                  Monitor
1-red                                RED
2-green                            Green
3-blue                               BLUE
7-GND                               GROUND
13&14-Syncs                     Composite Sync (Negative)
SHIELD                             GROUND

the cable is from Ultimarc so i know its using the negative sync...i have it wired just as you say. here is the thing though when i hooked up the jamma harness that was in the cab to a game it stayed the same and didnt have a problem...im thinking its the resolution problem in windows...i think the monitor dosent like the 640x480 as it is just a cga monitor. But i though with the arcade vga card i could hook up to a normla monitor without having problems....there jmust be something i cannot see at this point...im gonna research it a bit more but if anybody has a answers to this feel free to shout out.

The cable does nothing to determine sync.
That is a function of the card only.

Did you make sure to combine the sync wires on your monitor??

Or wire up to seperate syncs?

It sounds like you don't have the vsync wire connected.

Are you using a video amp?

It has a sync combiner that works well, some monitors you have to use a circuit to comine the syncs for.
