« on: May 27, 2005, 09:21:41 pm »
Guys,

My cab has 4 emulators, a jukebox, and a karaoke, is it possible to create a main screen, (computer boots too), that has a button for each program, maybe its a shortcut to the .exe, then all the person has to do it click one to launch that application, i tried one using microsoft frontend but could get it to work, keeping in mind ive never did anything like this before. ANy help from you guys would be great.

Why not just create desktop shortcuts to each one. Customise the desktop wallpaper to something sexy and get rid of ALL other shortcuts. You could also autohide the taskbar.

You can customise each shortcut icon by creating your own images too.

I don't know if it's exactly what you're looking for but Mamewah can launch external applications with a keypress. The way I have it set up, mine launches Arcade Jukebox when you press the "quit" button so while in the front end, pressing quit will toggle between the front end and the jukebox. It's very easy to set up, too.
