I am missing one with my monitor. I am thinking of making my own - unless anyone here has a spare one?

I see there is two pin header on the board. I assume switch is simply momentary "push to make" type button that simply shorts the pins to trigger degaussing.
Does it have to be held for duration of the degauss?
Is there actually any power that goes through the switch?
What type of switch is recommended?
Also another sort of related question....
The MTC9000 has VAC inputs of both 120V and 240V (in UK)
Someone told me that 240V is only used for the Degaussing. Is that true?
Can I still use the monitor if I only connect up the 120V VAC input?
This is because I have an isolation transformer that only has 120V output.
Would it be ok to apply non isolated 240V to the monitor?
