Media Viewer that supports ESC to exit
« on: December 04, 2002, 05:14:30 pm »
I am trying to setup GLaunch for div/x / mpeg movies.  I have sucessfully made it work with windows mplayer2.exe.  The problem is that I want a simple solution in order to exit the movie (fast forward, rewind, and other options like that) via the typical setup for arcade controls.

I am looking for a media viewer which lets you configure the hot keys.  Currently media view only exits from full screen mode when you hit ESC (P1 + P2 on the ipac) and not the entire program.

Any suggestions?

Therre's no such thing. Either code your own player in vb or vc++ (extremely easy to do)  or use my command line wrapper on top of the player of your choice.

I use Macro Express on my arcade machine, and it lets me set up ESC macros to preform the exits on all of my programs.  Just set it up one time, and it is VERY easy.  That is the route i would take if I were you, then you can use any program you want.
