There are tons of plaid fabric on sale in Ebay.

I searched on "plaid fabric"

Although 24 feet to 27 feet of wool fabric might be hard to come by.   Are you sure you need 8-9 "yards" of fabric?   That must be a very big kilt.

Good luck...

average sized person uses 4-6 yards, more if you use extra big pleats.  I'm a big guy.  Ever heard the phrase, the whole 9 yards?  Now you knwo where it comes from.

just a thought, if you have a Joann fabrics, they usually have some 40% coupons for one item floating around in the paper and on their website.

I bought the all the fabric and vinyl  to make my poker table on 3 separate trips  ;D

http://www.joann.com/index.jhtml

click on sales flyers. and look around.

I am not sure what they have going on now, but it seems 40% is the standard coupon they run.  Just looking at this stuff again reminds me how Non-Man desgined fabric stores are.  I want to go in, pick it out, pay and then leave.  Ya don't get that in the fabric stores I went to.

it is cool to take over the girlie store and make manly things like Poker tables and Kilts.

so what's your Clan?
