Walmart is not as prevalent in MA, or maybe all of New England, as it is in other parts of the country.  There are a lot of other places to shop.

Every time I go into walmart, it's like night of the living dead.  Everyone is uglier than you would think possible and dumber than they are ugly.  It's like Walmart somehow attracts the least attractive, least intelligent people in the area.

It should be noted I almost never shop at Walmart.

so i went to aisle 10, couldnt find it. I even asked a CSR to help me locate it. She said they might have some in back. I didnt proceed, alas the lighting wasn't dark enough in there for me to really go after this one.

It doesn't matter where you are, for the most part.  I live in a small town where Wal-mart is by far the biggest store.  But we have two other grocery stores and an Ace Hardware and a Gart Sports and various clothing stores. 

Wal-mart puts me in a bad mood.  It seems like they have a bad-mood-generator and headache-generator installed in their front doors and they activate every time a person walks through them.

I said almost because I believe in full disclosure.  I have shopped there in the past, most often because they are the only local retailer of Krylon Triple Thick, which I use to work on Pinball backglasses.

I almost ALWAYS go to Walmart in the middle of the night, because it's just too crowded during the day.  Plus, the middle of the night is when Lowes is closed and if you need some screws or something in the middle of the night, Walmart is the place to go.

If anyone else has ever visited Walmart after midnight I assume you've noticed this.  It doesn't matter HOW late it is.  There is ALWAYS some moron there with their kids.  Age isn't important.  they can be newborns up to 10 years old.  It's unbeleivable. 

I leave mine at home...in bed...where they SHOULD be at that hour!

Well I certainly do prefer to stay out of Wal-Mart whenever possible, because it's always so crowded, but when I do go you pretty much see all kinds of people there. Sure the dregs shop there, because it's cheap, but then just regular folks shop there as well, because it's cheap. I'd certainly never act like an elitist snob and say that everyone in Wal-Mart is an ugly moron. I see at least one hottie every time I go there (my wife   )

Wal-mart reminds me a little too much of the place in Bentley Little's "The Store". Creepy book, but Wal-Mart is even creepier........

I do know, though, that everywhere there has been a wal-mart put up here in Northridge, it has been proteseted by local residents. It seems to bring in all the bad seeds. Or, at least, that's their argument. Too crowded and usually causes huge traffic problems. Personally I have a problem with their business ethics and such so I don't shop there. But if this is where the new singles hot-spot is.........the I guess it'll only be a matter of time before we see the in-store pub spring up. Heck, why not throw in a wal-mart hotel on the second story, and a chapel on story 3, and a school above that, and so on and so on! It would be the ultimate in EVERYTHING. OH PRAISE YOU WAL-MART FOR BEING SO SMART AND GIVING US EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE.......not.

I once saw a girl at Wal-Mart in my town who was very petite and was wearing a tube top with no bra and each of her breasts was the size and shape of a volleyball.  I'm not kidding....and don't think cantelope size.....these things were approaching basketballs.  It was amazing.  She's definitely not local.  Our Wal-Mart is right off I-15, so I'm guessing she's a porn star, or something and saw that there was a Wal-Mart and stopped in on her way through.  It was seriously jaw-dropping, though.  Like seeing Notre Damn cathedral or the Grand Canyon for the first time.

The walmarts in NJ that i've been to are sleazy.  BUT, when I go to the one in Corydon, IN, near where I'm moving to, it's awesome.  A normal amount of decent and nasty looking people.

I like the fact that I can get a tire, underpants, steak, beer, donuts, and a memory card all in the same cart.

One stop cheap shopping. 

But, I do like target better.  Slightly nicer?
