How often do you get the chance to say
« on: May 16, 2005, 04:03:14 pm »
Was putting my son to bed the other night and he was playing with his Lego Millenium Falcon. Suddenly he has a question:

Son: "Daddy"
Me: "Yes"
Son: "Is this ship fast?"
Me: "Do the Kessel Run in less than 12 Parsecs"
Son: "Oh"
Me: ..... (laughing too much)

I mean, how often do you get the chance ;D

Perhaps that's Floyd's father - who knows?

When I have children, I'm going to fill their heads with random, obscure 80s references ("Hey Jr. - you got an 'A' on your test?  Well this must be the introduction to the opposite sketches") that I'll be disinvited to every father/son outing years in advance.  That'll be a great opportunity to catch up on my t.v. watching and itch scratching.

First post!! Why I oughta!

Didn't even realise I'd set that login up (normally access from work but that one was at home) so although I may have appear to have be re-incarnated it would appear that reports of my previous id's demise have been greatly exagerrated ;).

Sad to say that in the same situation I would have answered in exactly the same way. Geeks of the world unite!

I've tought my two kids (4 & 5)  to use "Stay on target. Stay on target!"

And they even use it correctly. :)
