Question about betson and other multiscan monitors
« on: May 15, 2005, 09:36:54 pm »
Hi folks,

I had a question about the exact dimensions of the betson or other multiscan monitors, like the 9200.  I have a spider-man cabinet that i'd like to convert into a mame machine (while keep all my mods reversible if possible).  I'd like to add a multiscan monitor so that i can also play and demo pc games.  The problem is that the interior width of the cabinet seems to be exactly 24", and the width of the 9200 specification is 24.4".  So it seems that im out of luck.
Can anyone verify for me if the width of the betson imperial (kortek) is exactly the same, and if there is any possibility for squeezing one of those monitors into my cabinet or am i just out of luck?  Or are there any other multiscan monitors that i might be able to fit in my cabinet?  Otherwise it looks like ill be building from scratch....

thanks,
jeff

I've got one of the new Betson Kortek monitors and the external frame is right around 24.5" horizontally.  The screen itself is just a shade over 24".
