Neo Geo CD Mounting Issue
« on: May 14, 2005, 05:09:13 pm »
Okay I got around to setting up my NeoGeoCD stuff in MAMEWAH, and the files are in the ISO/CUE/mp3 format.  I followed JCrouse's information, but I get an error message every time a CUE is mounted from DaemonsTools.  Currently, my ROMS folder in Nebula has all the files w/o folder separation for each game.  Is this the issue, or did I do soemthing else wrong? The error says that this is not a recognized format???

I'm not an expert by any stretch but I use Bin/uce format. When trouble shooting always remove as many variables as possible and build from the ground up.

First see if the images will mount in daemon tools (use the DT gui)

If they do, launch the emulator and see if you can get a game to run. I think in Nebula for CD games you actually launch a rom called neocd.zip to play images and then it automatically finds the image in Daemon Tools. When the NeoCD bios (splash screen) starts press the TAB key. You will then get options (like mame) for setting your CD image parameters. I think you can either choose a fil (ISO) or actual Drive letter.

Once you get all that working then move to MameWAH and set it up as per my website's ini file.

Good Luck,
John
