Restricting access to Mamewah option menus
« on: May 09, 2005, 01:01:16 am »
Just wondering if there is a way to restrict what menu options show up in Mamewah.

eg: can you have just exit, selection of emu and selection of list appear?

I guess I'm wondering if you can hide the option to alter lists, etc.

Cheers.

You have 2 options:

1) Using MAMEWAH Config or notepad, re-map the MENU_SHOW key in your MAMEWAH controller file to a key that's not mapped to any of your buttons (this is the safest method, but you have to have your keyboard out whenever you want to do MAMEWAH maintenance).

2) Press Left ALT and 2 (the default) to lock the menus.

Thanks for that. The remap of the key to bring the menu up did occur to me (eventually  :P)

Didn't know about the Left Alt + 2 though.

Cheers.
