Good places in UK to get arcade stuff
« on: May 03, 2005, 12:31:41 pm »
Apart from ebay.co.uk and here are there any other good places in the UK where you can get arcade related stuff such as PCBs and cabinets etc.

I have only ever seen one auction (last year which I could not attend)

should i consider a trip down to the seaside and approaching the few remaining arcades direct?

am i too late? have all the old 80s classics been cleared out or will there be any chance of find a gem somewhere?

maybe everything has been already snapped up by collectors?

I am looking to get some classic cabs/pcbs with view to restoring them.

maybe europe might still have some classic machines gathering dust somewhere?

I believe a company called Vektorlogic in Darlington sells arcade parts and spares. They have a shop on ebay which is open however I cannot get access to the website when I tried before.
Also try swallow amusements http://www.coin.demon.co.uk/ and I suggest trying every arcade supply house & amusement arcade which is in your local Yellow pages which is what i have done previously.

happy hunting!

i still get all of my stuff from ebay... apart from the odd cable that i can't find the very moment when i need it. i find dedicated websites/ companies tend to overcharge...
