Brainstorming ideas for my cab
« on: May 02, 2005, 10:21:18 pm »
Hi folks new to the art section as I have been scouring the montior, software and cab areas for the last few weeks.

Last weekend I put together my cab (basic lusid, with semi crowded 4 player CP) and I need to come up with a concept for a marquee and side art and CPO.

I am tossing around the names Arcade Arena or Stadium-Cade or something along those lines.  Since I am a huge NBA Jams and Boxing fan I thought it might be appropriate.  I was thinking about asking somoeone to put together some side art or a marquee etc.

For side art I was thinking like some seats in the crowd with famous video game icons (ken, ryu, spidey, pacman, gauntlet, bald bull, mario, DK etc.) and maybe for the overlay like a football field or hoops wood court or something like that.

Not sure how everything works but I am certainly willing to pay/donate for any time effort etc.   My 3 man crew (1 software, 1 construction, 1 wiring guy) on this cabinet is low on artists so i figured I ask the communtiy for a hand or some ideas.

Post here or email me at jbell21@rochester.rr.com

Thanks!
