i dont think it is one of his best

a few good songs but the others are mediocre - don't like the cowboy western feel

i prefer his older stuff with estreet band

maybe it is a grower - hopefully

I haven't heard it all, but I caught a review on the radio the other day. I was pretty impressed judging from the bits of it that they played. I may pick it up.

Same...I may have caught the same review.  It was on NPR.  Anyway, at least that Devils and Dust song sounded pretty catchy.  Kind of had a Johnny Cash feel to it.

Yep, NPR a couple days ago. I also saw part of an accoustic concert he did on TV a few months ago. I have to say that I like his new sound much better than I liked his old sound.
