T-Shirts
« on: April 23, 2005, 02:49:14 pm »
My favourite t-shirts of the last few years are looking a little raggedy and I need to get a hold of some new ones. My old shirts are mostly stuff I got in comic shops, Australian skate shops or screen-printed myself years ago.
I took a look at CafePress, thinking I could whip out some of my old screen print designs and have CafePress make a couple- but they only do thermal prints on white cloth, so that won'r really work.

Is there somewhere similar to CafePress that will print on dark shirts?

Or can anybody recommend any cool online t-shirt vendors?

There's another place that's very similar to Cafe Press except they have more T-shirt options and I think they do dark colors.  I can't think of the name, but they seem to get mentioned whenever I read people asking about alternatives to Cafe Press.

Somehow I don't think JoyMonkey would be interested in too many T-shirts from tshirthell :)

How about this?

The tshirthell shirts seem to be made for people that desperately crave attention of any kind, they're a little much for me. I really like some of the 80stees.com ones, I think I'll pick up the Napoleon Dynamite "Your Mom goes to college" shirt for a friend - he cracks up every time he hears that line!

Found a good list of alternatives to CafePress here:

Apparently, not only do CafePress not offer dark shirts, but their terms of service is raping people. Or so I'm lead to believe.

I love the Truffle Shuffle!  That always makes me laugh.
Next I'll be on fries, and that's when the big money starts rolling in.
