Mess Atari 5200 Controls & Mamewah
« on: April 18, 2005, 10:50:45 am »
Is there anyone out there who has successfully set up controls with Mess to use Atari 5200 in a cabinet?  By using the wrapper I have no problems getting a game loaded. From that point I can not get it to start. I have the my HotrodSE set up as the default controller in Mess.

What version of MameWAH? What version of MESS? I'm confused by your using of a Wrapper. Why is that necessary? Atari 5200 and MESS is a little trciky the way some of the games start/keys respond and what not and also seems to have changed a few times in the last ten versions or so of MESS.

My mistake. I am not using a wrapper. I am using Mamewah 1.61 and Mess .95.  After playing with it a little , the problem has nothing to do with Mamewah. It is doing what it is supposed to. It has something  to do with the Mess setup. I looked through their docs and they are of no help.

Maybe if I could see the Mess config files of someone who has it working I could figure it out.
