Exiting Mamewah
« on: April 18, 2005, 10:28:33 am »
Hey guys.  Can you map a key to ESCAPE out of Mamewah other than ESC?

I'd really like to 'hide' my mamewah escape in a shifted key or something rather than having people able to exit to the windows screen.  I still like them to be able to ESC out of a game though.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

d.

I don't know about Mamewah.  But i suppose you can define keys.

In my Front End (AtomicFe), you can affect another key to exit the front end (i think you can with MameWah too) . And you can even put a password (you can enter with a arcade panel) on exit!.

Well to some extent your options (shift functions) depend on the encoder your using. That being said, you can edit the default.cfg file in the ../Mamewah/ctrlr file to set and key you want as the exit key.
