Zinc Controller Config Bug
« on: April 10, 2005, 03:46:02 pm »
Apparently there's a bug in the Controlls.znc file that comes with Zinc.

The problem is for certain types of games that the emulator emulates (ZN-1, I think).  Anyhow.. games such as Mr. Driller won't allow you to enter a quarter because keystrokes 1-5 get ignored.

Someone issued a hacked controller.znc that fixes this..   but the controls are now fixed, and not editable.

They suggest using mamewah's built in ability to flash your ipac with the 'fixed' controls of the hacked controller.znc...  But, the problem is.. is that I am using a Keywiz.

Can anyone come up with any ideas how I might get around this?

I am having the same problems.  Is there no way to change the controls on any version of zinc?
