This topic was originally to find a spam blocker that I could encorperate into outlook express but after I got the response I did about using thunderbird (I'm already using firefox and it's pretty cool) I decided to give it a go.

I am now have a bit of a problem when it comes to thunderbird though...  :(

When we were using outlook express there were two accounts, mine and my GF's.  Not sure if it matters or not but they both connected through the same pop3 address (pop3.comcast.net).  So I install thunderbird and click have it import from OE and it worked great, for my account that is.  I can't seem to figure out how to get my GF's email to import!

First I tried just creating her account in thunderbird and then giving it another shot and it just imported my email into her account.

Then I tried having outlook express open with her account up and then importing to her new thunderbird account which was still open and no go, it just imported my crap again!

Please help.  If I can't get this up and running correctly before she decides she needs to read her email she'll be totally against it and she'll never stop bitchin'!

If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

Switch from Outlook to Thunderbird (same company that makes Firefox, which you should also switch to if you're using Internet Explorer).  It has an excellent SPAM filter built in.  I can't remember the type of filter you want.  It starts with a B, I think :)  Someone here will know what I'm talking about.

Oh yea, if I want some help with my problem, it would probably help if my topic was near the top of the list.

Guess I spoke too soon.  I'm sure it's not the correct way of going about things but what I did was just delete my Outlook Express account and then gave it another shot.  Since her's was the only account left it had no choice but to import from that!

:D I realy hope this thunderbird thing works out for me though.  I realy hate spam, the e-mail type that is.  Real SPAM is awesome!  8)
